A Shared Experience

FROM MY SON:
Last night before I went to bed, I think the Lord spoke to me and said to quote the beginning of Genesis 1:1-5. So, I began quoting it to myself, and it touched my mind to make me realize there are three types of people in this world.
§   People who keep all the voids of the past in their life on the water and eventually drown in them because they never say "Let there be God's light" in their souls.
§   People who say "Let there be light," but never divide the light from the darkness in their actions.
§   People who say "Let there be light" but stop their life change on the first day.
When God created the earth, He made it out of nothing. When He looked at the earth and saw there was nothing to look forward to, God spoke and created the light. God continued to create, even though there was nothing on the earth but day and night.
I learned from God yesterday that people are without form and void, but we have the power to create and the power to say "Let there be light" — no matter what happens in our lives. It motivated me to paddle on the boat of my voids, my past, and my crap to turn them into something worthwhile.
The hardest thing for me right now is not to look back because God did not look back after the Earth and mankind were created. He moved forward no matter how often mankind sinned. He keeps moving forward, even until the end of the world when the earth will be destroyed. GOD WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER KEEP MOVING FORWARD!

No matter what was destroyed or voided in my life, God taught me to create (by speaking), divide my light from my dark past, and press forward to the next day. That is the process that God wants us to do every day to help rebuild what was destroyed and to create possibilities for a future!

Amen
